Coaching has always been close to my heart — partly due to the fact that I am a coach myself – but coaching has a transformative quality that goes deeper than just surface level fixes.

When one goes through a coaching process, it is a deep dive into the root causes of patterns, beliefs, behaviours and creating new ways of thinking and being. It is about getting to the heart of what drives us and unlocking our full potential.
Do you need therapy or coaching? How do you know which is the right path for you? How are they different?
Coaching vs. Therapy: What are the differences?
Traditional therapies are typically based in pathology. There is usually a diagnosis involved in therapy, and it tends to focus a lot on the past. You will be able to retell your story and analyze your past with a therapist in order to diagnose any issues, problems, or trauma that needs to be addressed.
During therapy, you will learn to unpack your past experiences and identify unhealthy patterns that are not serving you well by analyzing past experiences. Therapy can take weeks, months, or even years. In order to heal from the past and move forward in a healthy way, you may need therapy for insight, freedom or forgiveness.
An experienced coach will enable you to design and achieve results in your life. Coaching can help you identify problematic behaviours holding you back and assist in modifying these old non-productive patterns and behaviours. A coach can help you implement new more effective tools so that you are more able to overcome the obstacles you are experiencing and achieve different results - building a better life, relationship, or even a career.

The real power of coaching is not in having a coach who tells you what to do, but rather in having one who gives you a safe place to reflect on and work through your own limiting beliefs and behaviours so you can learn to empower yourself.
Coaching is about moving forward and investing in you and your self-development. Hands down the most valuable investment there is to be made!
